Robin Sharma and Her Royal Highness Princess Alia of Jordan tour the Cerebral Palsy Foundation's Center for Children in Amman Jordan



Toronto: On his recent tour throughout the Middle East which took him to Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and the Ukraine, Robin Sharma, best-selling author and leadership expert and Her Royal Highness Princess Alia of Jordan visited the Cerebral Plasy Foundation's Comprehensive Center in Amman. Princess Alia has been acting President of the Foundation following Her Majesty Queen Noor since 2006. The mission of the center is to see all children with Cerebral Palsy enjoy the activties and opportunities of life to the fullest through treatment, education and rehabilition.

During the visit Robin Sharma and Princess Alia toured the facility and met teachers, staff and students with local and national media to help raise awareness for the important work in helping children with Cerebral Palsy.

The students at the Cerebral Palsy Foundation Center have tremendous potential. Princess Alia also attended Robin's full day leadership workshop 'Lead Without a Title', held at the Grand Hyatt in Amman with over 350 top executives from the Jordanian business community in attendance. Participants also travelled from Egypt, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to participate.

Her Royal Highness Princess Alia was married to HRH Prince Feisal, the second son to HM King Hussein of Jordan and HRH Princess Muna in 1987. Princess Alia serves as President of Promise Welfare Society, President of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and President of the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Princess Alia presently is working to establish a regional diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation center for children with Cerebral Palsy.
