I walked into the Austrian Airlines lounge at the Gothenburg, Sweden airport and was not only struck by the easy Swedish design (land of Ikea) but by this row of bright orange Buddhas sitting on the wall. The image remains burned in my mind. Why? It was so unexpected amidst a mostly business context. It stood out. It was unforgettable.
