I'm in Stockholm. Landed yesterday and headed straight to the Nobel Museum. Alfred Nobel was the Swedish entrepreneur who invented dynamite. His patents made him a fortune. But when he died, he instructed that his money not be used to erect monuments but to celebrate lives. So the Nobel Prizes were given to support people who were doing great things in the world.
I loved my time in that museum, walking amongst the giants like Madame Curie and Mandela and Fleming. Inspired me. Elevated me. Enriched me. (God I love art/museums/design/fashion - makes me so happy). Today's all about media ("Discover Your Destiny With The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" is the #1 book in Sweden for Net sales - it goes into bookstores this week). I'll end the day with a booksigning. Oh, ate at a cool place last night called GQ: Food Intelligence where the wine is more important than the food. | |
Interesting concept. The food was great but the focus was on a nice glass of wine that brought the meal to excellence. The sommelier poured the wine like it was pure liquid gold. You should have seen it. A Leader Without Title for sure. Why? Because he poured wine like Matisse painted. Loved his craft.
Thanks to my readers in Sweden. I feel deeply blessed and humbled by the support you've given me, making The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari so successful here. I'm having so much fun in your great country.
Soon I'll leave for a speech in Bilbao, Spain. Then we fly to Belfast for a leadership event followed by Amsterdam, Dublin, Prague, Lithuania and Estonia before reaching Caracas for the leadership day sponsored by El Nacional. Bye.
