Just landed at the Abu Dhabi airport. Remarkable place this emirate seems to be, from all I've read. Poised to become a cultural center within The Middle East with a wealth of businesses trading in the region. And you know there's a ton of oil here.
On the flight read from The Harvard Business Review. The article was about creativity. Much of my work with organizations and leaders these days involves helping people let go of the old to make space for the new so that they master turbulent change. You can't innovate if you're too scared to let go of the past and step into the higher possibilities of the unknown. And there are many scared people out there.
